Dominique set up her bridal prep at the modernly chic Aloft hotel in downtown Houston. The Aloft has urban appeal with very vibrant grays, brown and orange tones throughout the hotel.
The bride’s dress with a deep V-neckline line, lace patterned and beaded gown was absolutely elegant. The perfectly arched eyebrows, highlighted with bronze and gold color on her face and eyes added sheer glamour. Her gorgeous hair was neatly tucked under her crowning veil.
For the big day, Jermaine chose to get ready at the couple’s loft that overlooked downtown. The groom’s merlot colored tuxedo against a crisp white shirt was sleek and tailored nicely. He complimented his contemporary style with the classic bowtie.
I had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful couple at a bridal show. We started their wedding journey by photographing their engagement session downtown. Their nuptials were distinctive and unlike most ceremonies. For one, they decided not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. The exchange of their vows was very heart felt and deeply emotional. After the ceremony the guests were entertained by playing games like Jenga, Horseshoes and washers. This intimate affair was attended by close friends and family. The event was planned by Touched by Tempest.
