An Austin Proposal to Anniversary Photos – The lifeline of any successful small business is referrals. I met Laura and Scott through a mutual friend / client that referred them to me. During our initial consultation I immediately enjoyed their sweet love for one another as Laura often finished Scotts sentences for him. All great women finish a man’s sentence, so that’s a great sign! From an Austin proposal to anniversary photos in Houston, we were definitely in for a treat.

Scott and Laura met in college in French class. They decided to be study partners and admitted that their first date involved very little studying and more courting questions. Their friendship blossomed into a great relationship and they enjoy hanging out with friends and consider themselves true homebodies. Laura was drawn to how Scott treats others and how genuinely he cares. Scott loved Laura’s personality and how fun she is to be around. He describes her as “ a good person with a great heart and an excellent spirit”.

They grow up in the same neighborhood near Bellaire, but four years of separation prevented them from crossing paths until college. Nonetheless, they are making up for lost time. Scott proposed in Austin, Texas and Laura recalls him nervously putting the ring on the wrong hand. That charm is what makes them one of my favorite couples and we had a blast capturing their Anniversary photos in Old Bellaire and The University of Houston campus.
