Atlanta Engagement Photos – The engagement session with Yemi and William was an incredible experience. This couple showed they had a great love for each other and a lot of things in common too. I believe those two things can be the recipe for a great marriage. It was a destination photo shoot in Atlanta, Georgia. “Hotlanta” is known for many things: sports, music, civil rights history, commerce, the world’s busiest airport…and of course Tyler Perry Studios.
We started off the session in a studio. With two dress fittings, Yemi and William took their fashion choices to another level. From rocking the African garb with beautiful tribal print details, they displayed their heritage in a culturally assured way. The second wardrobe change was casual chic, and their color palettes really complemented each other.
Next, we went to the Jackson Street Bridge that overlooks downtown Atlanta. It has been considered the best place to capture the city skyline. Situated between Cain Street and Highland Avenue, it’s widely known from a scene from the television show “The Walking Dead”. Fortunately for us, there wasn’t a lot of traffic, and we were able to snap some iconic photos.
This time the look was elegant formal, which added a beautiful touch to the picturesque night backdrop. The bride-to-be was stunning in a burgundy gown that was spotlight ready with a plunge neck and thigh-to-ankle split. The groom-to-be sported a black tuxedo with satin lapel and collar. The polka dot bowtie and pocket square was paired perfectly.
Yemi and William had a complete entourage giving them confidence during the day of the shoot. They also heled with fine tune adjustments on their outfits to make sure the fabrics sat just right. This was a great decision on the couple’s part. These friends made it possible for Yemi and William to completely relax and simply focus on looking good for the camera. Job well done!
