Azul Riviera Maya Resort Wedding – My favorite kind of a party is one that is filled with dancing, good music, excellent food, and guests who are there to have a great time. None were better than this one we captured at Azul Rivera Maya Resort Wedding in Cancun. As a traveling destination wedding photographer, I get the distinct pleasure to visit some of the best locations on this planet. I especially love to travel when the destination a short distance away. This is the case for Cancun, which is only a three hour flight from Houston.

For Yemisi and Bola, their Nigerian wedding took place at Azul Riviera Maya Resort in Cancun. The resort is right off of the Caribbean Sea and close to downtown Cancun. Blessed by some of the best weather for that time of year, the ceremony took place on the sky deck. The sky deck held some spectacular views of the water. Next, we took the couple out to the shore to take pictures on the beach. The sight was beyond beautiful, and you couldn’t photograph a happier bride.

Yemisi looked absolutely stunning in a long sleeves scoop gown, adorned with beading and lace embroidery. Accentuating her updo hairstyle with a pearl and rhinestone clip added more glamour. The groom stood out in a deserving, yet subtle way. Dressed in a hunter green tuxedo, the black shawl collar gave his look extra-flair. Yemisi and Bola truly have a special bond, and it translated so well in their images.

While there are options to hire the resort or local photographer, there are distinct benefits to bringing in your own. I may have a relationship with the couple when I photograph their engagement session (or at least had more phone conversations). Your wedding will be the only one on my schedule, so I’m available to work a full wedding day. Also, I’m able to take more pictures and customize the session to your liking.
