Boardwalk Fantasea Wedding – Shooting at a place that I never shot before always excites me as a photographer. Working with Delano and Carmalita only added to that excitement as they are such a wonderful couple that exuded genuine love for one another. From the surprise watch as a gift to the groom to the cutting of the cake, every moment was filled with an earnest love that many aspire for, but few obtain.

I had the pleasure of photographing the engagement session for  Delano and Carmalita in Galveston’s historic strand, so when they encore called for a cruise aboard the Kemah Boardwalk FantaSea how could I resist? I’ve done my share of yacht weddings now, but there is a special flair that The FantaSea offered on the night of September 5^th.

We arrived to the Boardwalk Inn a few hours before the start of the ceremony, which created some great opportunity to catch the bride and groom relaxed and enjoying the fleeting moments of single life with their friends. Their matter of fact approach about their fate was so heart warming and made the lead up to the wedding unique.

Keeping with the theme for their engagement we capture the Romantics along with tonal black and whites that would display the love and connection they share as a couple. The Kemah Boardwalk FantaSea and Boardwallk Inn provided a backdrop for a few timeless photos. The warmth and humidity of a last-summers night always gives a special feel to a wedding. I have to say, that shooting at the Boardwalk Fantasea was a true treat, and I can’t wait for the next time. I know you came here to enjoy the imagery, and I could go on and on about how special each moment we captured was. I believe it’s best that I retire, and show you all these goodies. Enjoy!
