A Charming Heather’s Glen Wedding – October was such a busy wedding month for Second Shots Photography. We set out for Heather’s Glen Bed & Breakfast for a charming wedding in north Houston. Heather’s Glen is home to one of the best gardens on any Houston wedding venue and it provides a great backdrop for images. The adjoining chapel has floor to ceiling windows. Watching Kristel + Monty tie the knot at Heather’s Glen had to be a treat for their guest.

Okay, I have to say that I’m a complete sucker for a good love story. I’m equally a sucker for autumn and everything it entails. Growing up in Ohio autumn was the season that had the most pleasant weather. If you happen to combine fall and a love story than I really do not know how I can contain myself. Kristel and Monty gave me just that on a beautiful Fall Sunday in Texas.

When moving from Florida to Texas 4 years ago, I wanted to re-establish my photography business.. The second wedding that I shot in the state of Texas was at Heather’s Glen. What a big difference four years make as I see photography and the manner and which I document weddings.

Monty and Kristel union was simply amazing. What stood out most was watching how helpful the bridesmaids were in accommodating her every need. Watching the connection that Monty and Kristel have for one another is the winning formula for all successful marriages.

Kristel had such a beautiful wedding dress with a train that made taking images insanely easy. The bright orange with neutral grays made a colorful yet complimenting décor. I know you came here to view the images, although I can go on waxing poetically, I will not keep you from them any longer.
