Chic Houston Engagement Photos – Being a Houston Wedding and Engagement photographer definitely has it perks. One of the best perks is when your clients show you something that has been hidden right under your nose. When Dominique and Will said that wanted to attempt to capture their engagement session in the underground Houston Cistern I was happy to oblige.

I did not even know this place existed. When I saw the pictures online I knew it would be such a great backdrop. If you have ever been to the Cistern, you know it presents its fair share of problems to capture great images. Such a beautiful hidden gem deserves to be captured beautifully, and we did our best. We started the session at the Cullen Sculpture Garden in the Museum district. We finished the session in the Midtown area under kisses from a midafternoon sun.

I cannot wait to capture their wedding next month at the Bell Tower on 34^th Street. I know they’ll carry this same level of elegance over to their wedding day and it should make for a fantastic celebration. I know you came to see these amazing photos, and I won’t keep you from them any longer. Ed.
