Discovery Green Family Photos – As a Houston Wedding Photographer it’s rare that I get a chance to do family sessions, but when the opportunity presents itself I often ask afterwards why don’t I do this more often. As a result of that, I have started to say yes more often to request to do one-year-old cake smash celebrations. I love the discovery that a one year old has during these photo sessions and it reminds me of the times that my sons were just as curious and inquisitive.

Amanda and I work together she is a 7^th grade science teacher. Her husband Jason studied visual arts and spends some his free time behind the camera too; so I knew I had to create some great images. When Amanda asked me to capture this moment, I felt truly honored and after another session, I can’t wait to show you these images.

Jacob made my job super easy. He smiled so easily! Hew as a true joy to be around and he absolutely dug into the cake without regards for it’s well-being. I’m left with one question; will your baby be the next child that Second Shots Photography captures? Enjoy the images.
