Enchanting Castle Engagement – Wow! Can I say SLAY! I know guys are not supposed to say slay, but I ran out of adjectives suitable enough to describe this engagement session. Wow, Lance and Alyx truly shined in this session. The light was gorgeous and their connection was insanely genuine. I truly enjoyed spending so much time with them as we started with a morning session and ended with a sunset session.
We started out with vibrant colors at the graffiti walls near downtown Houston. The sun was hiding behind clouds, which made for some soft light looks that truly complimented their outfits. Alyx and Lance are truly one of a kind; their competitive banter is unequivocally the best I have seen in any couple. Their sly jokes throughout the session made for some great smiles, which truly showcase their connection to one another.
Later that morning we went to the historic North and South Blvd area in central Houston. This place is rich with greenery and has some of the greatest oak trees in all of Houston. The lush greens and the overlapping branches truly provided a backdrop that was fitting for Team Heir Jordan. As the rain started to drop, we wrapped up the morning session and took a slight break.
I truly love when my couples are wide open to my suggestions. During the consultation I recall Alyx saying their wedding them was Heir Jordans. Immediately I started to think about using a castle a little west of Houston as the backdrop. Sight unseen, Alyx and Lance said, we trust you and went along with my suggestion. The castle did not disappoint and it truly put a bow on their session unlike any other location could. Thank you for reading. Enjoy the pictures. Ed.
