It was an incredible honor to photograph ADORABLE Rob Jensen & Carole Menefee wedding yesterday. It was truly a joy to be a part of the beginning of their new lives together. This day would not have been half as beautiful without such an incredible creative team. Firstly, I want to thank Dana Michele for second shooting with me, you’re eye for posing is second to none. Secondly, I would like to thank the staff at First Baptist Church of Houston. Thirdly, Rachel Gerhardt Floral designs for the incredible floral arrangements. Last but certainly not least, I would like to thank Terry Miller with Absolutely Captivating Makeup Artistry for her outstanding job with makeup for the bride.
Carole and Rob met in the choir at their church, First Baptist Church of Houston. The love for each other is undeniable, and it was easy to capture it throughout the day. Great photography happens from genuine people owning the ambiance, and that’s truly what Carole and Rob did. I can’t keep you from these pictures any longer, enjoy.
I seen this sign, and I couldn’t resist.
One of the first churches built in Houston. It is a beautiful building, and the bride’s father was one of the original founding members.
Eye catching! The bride and groom had great looking bands.
Being that Carole & Rob meet singing in the church choir, it was only
fitting to have a ring shot that incorporated music, hence the piano shot!
The groom and his best man, his son Dr. Jensen.
The bride and her mother, passing down a heirloom. That was the same bible her mother carried down the aisle.
Carole, Mom and her niece. All three ladies carried the bible down the aisle on their wedding day.
Meet the bride, the now Mrs. Jensen.
The UN-reveal. No one seen each other, but this led to a
great exchange with a heartfelt prayer by Rob to his then future wife.
The church filled with nearly 400 people grow anxious as the bride enters the room.
Rob’s reading his vows to Carole, one of the most moving parts of the ceremony.
I nearly cried into my eye cap on the camera.
Rob doesn’t miss any opportunities to make people feel a part of the celebration.
As he give low fives to the witnesses. He’s truly one of a kind, and has such a genuine heart.
The couples first dance in front of a crowd of people giving them a standing ovation.
