Engagement sessions should be fun. More importantly they should reflect each couple’s relationship. When I took this frame it offered a combination of fun and represented the couple’s relationship. Here is one frame that I captured at Galveston Pleasure Pier Engagement Photos. Katherine and Aaron were recently engaged two weeks ago. They were so giddy and their love shined through in this image. The weekdays are the perfect opportunity to take in some salt and sun, on the shores of the beautiful Galveston Island. I can’t wait to come back here for another session. My family could use a stay-cation here too.
I’ll post a more complete blog of their session later in which we started on the Strand in Galveston. Galveston has so much to offer in terms of backdrops for engagement and family sessions. This will definitely become a place that I will use to photograph 2-3 times a year! I am interested in seeing how it looks during the fall, as I’m sure it will offer more gorgeous skies.
I thoroughly enjoy my job as a photographer and getting to capture moments like these. When people are celebrating their commitment to one another, it creates beautiful images. From getting an opportunity to photograph weddings or even newborns, being a photographer will put you in the heart of someone’s special moment. It is those very moments that make your realize and appreciate what you deliver to others. I don’t take these moments for granted, and I thoroughly enjoy them.
