Galveston San Luis Resort Wedding – As a Galveston and Houston Wedding photographer we run across some really pleasant people who make the job/calling/gift all the more enjoyable. Kristen and Chris are the epitome of a sweet couple. They are super understanding, a joy to work with and ultimately a loving couple whose connection can be seen, felt and admired. I remember the first e-mail that I received from Kristen telling me how much she enjoyed our work and wanted us to document her wedding and engagement photos.
Their engagement sessions were one of my favorite from this wedding season. I remember them dancing in front of City Hall to no music. We started the day going all around their old neighborhood in The Heights and I felt I left knowing them a little better.
The San Luis Resort always has a plethora of opportunities as it sits across the street from the Galveston Seawall. There is always a party at the San Luis Resort and the energy of the wedding day was awesome!
How did they meet? Kristen says: We met playing triva at a local bar. Our teams talked a lot of “smack” to each other and his team won EVERY TIME. He finally worked up the nerve to ask me to dinner and the rest is history.
How did he propose? Kristen says: He proposed at Messina Hoff Winery in College Station. I kept thinking he was going to propose and he didn’t so by the end of the day I was really irritated. When he finally proposed I was looking the other direction and turned around to him on his knee. It was a wonderful day!
I know you came here to see the pictures, thanks for reading. Ed.
