Houston Engagement Photography is what I truly love doing. I’ve been waiting to do a session like this for some time. Last year I made a bucket list of engagement sessions that I wanted to do in the next year or two. I’ve always been a huge fan of thematic engagement sessions with flair for the dramatics. I’ve been waiting patiently for the PERFECT couple to do a romantic session on a canoe.

When I first sat down with Amanda and Jose and had our initial Skype consultation they mentioned they love for being on the water. That was sweet Nashville music to my ear. Amanda and Jose both reside in Nashville Tennessee but they are going to get married at the historical Garten Verein in Galveston, Texas later this year.

We set out for a Houston Engagement Photography session in north Houston on a quiet lake. The sun came out a few times but the quiet serenity of nature was the perfect backdrop and setting for a truly memorable session. I could keep waxing poetically about this session, but, I know you want to see the images.
