Houston Engagement Pictures – What a wonderful couple. I was so glad that they took me up on my offer to do a lifestyle engagement session as the extra time truly allowed for us to capture some truly unique images. I met Capri and Gerry through Instagram and them driving all the way down from Dallas meant I had to truly do some of my best work. I feel that I have not let them down, and you can see the first part of the session that we did in Galveston here.
We set out for a lunch at the City Centre and I have to say that we were not disappointed by the variety it has to offer. I was so glad the waitress allowed us to shoot in Straits; it proved a great place to grab a bite to eat and enjoy a glass of wine. Afterwards, we went to a pub near the Museum district and it was good to see Capri’s colorful dress. After that, we found a graffiti wall right outside the Museum district. We then drove over to the Houston Police Memorial, which provided a great backdrop for the city and was one of the great parts of the session. Afterwards we finished up at an area lounge with some romantic and intimate shots.
As a Houston Engagement Photographer, I want to offer experiences for my clients that they cannot get anywhere else. Having an extended session like this truly allowed Capri and Gerry to relax (we even took time out to do the Kid-N-Play Dance, Oh La, Oh La, Aaaa) and the images we created as a result were truly remarkable. We all got to know each other a little better, and now I can not wait to come to Las Vegas later this year to shoot their wedding. I’m getting a little ahead of myself, look for Capri’s bridal session, I promise that it will be something worth checking out. Thanks for reading. Ed.
