Houston Family Photographer | Jordyn First Birthday

As a Houston Wedding Photographer, it is rare that I get the opportunity to put on my Houston Family Photographer hat. But when I do, it is a true joy. Looking back! Almost a year ago I got the opportunity to shoot Jordyn first birthday photos. I was able to shoot mom and dad’s maternity pictures (Galveston Maternity Photos) early this year as she has a new baby sister Jai.

It has been a true journey getting the opportunity to document many of these family’s moments throughout the last three years. Janelle and Justin has been a great client and have built there way into fans of the brand and family in my eyes. I’m sharing some of my favorite pictures from this session.

We headed to Hermann Park after being turned away from Discovery Green because of heavy construction and event. Downtown Houston can be so unpredictable and sometimes scheduling sessions down there can call for some last minute adjustments. Jordyn was an absolutely joy to photograph. Mom kept her motivated with some soft cookies and she was in true cookie monster form. I could keep going on and on about this session, but after a year, it’s time you see these images.
