Houston Honeymoon Cafe Engagement

Downtown Houston Coffee Shop Engagement – Dominique and Jermaine were opened to the process. They wanted to have an engagement session that embodied everything that was downtown Houston. We went late one evening and enjoyed the ambiance that is Houston. All the skyscrapers, the weekly commuters, the breathing of the city. We started our season at the Honeymoon Café. Sadly, that will be the last session that we do there because it has been replaced by another café. Lost is the textured walls and the iconic Honeymoon logo. My biggest regret is that I did not shoot here more often. Sometimes we take things for granted until they are gone. The Honeymoon Café was one of those things.

Dominique and Jermaine had a stoic confidence. You could see their connection at first frame. We had a blast, so much so, that we ended up shooting longer than we anticipated. We shoot until the sun light left and even photographed some night time images. This session produced some of my favorite images of 2017 and their wedding day turned out amazing.
