Houston Maternity Photographer – One of the greatest compliments any client can pay you is referring another client and becoming a repeat client. Laya and Arnel paid the best compliments with referring a Puerto Rico destination wedding and coming back for maternity pictures. Our session with Xavier was utterly epic when he turned one. When they told me that Xavier would be a big brother and they wanted me to document the session I felt honored. Getting the opportunity to work with Laya and Arnel has always been a privilege. They are a great couple that have a glowing love for one another and their laid back personalities are well-received and always welcome.

We set out for Sugarland Texas to capture this maternity session. It was a beautiful Sunday, and although their beloved Seattle Seahawks were on the wrong end of the score board they were still in good spirits. Getting the opportunity to document maternity sessions really shows the complete full circle of Second Shots Photography. We start with some couples through engagement, or weddings, or maternity and move to the one-year old cake smash and family sessions. Having those life customers allow you to build a relationship with them and also challenges you to think more creatively to wow them even more the next time around.

I hope they call again saying they are pregnant with child number three soon. =) Haha, I figured, they’d love my overzealous spirit. Cheers to baby Gio who was born a little over a week ago. Thanks for reading. Ed.
