Houston Maternity Photographer – Are you prepared to swoon? I have been making a push to shoot in different locations and when Chrisshawn and Ronnie asked me to document their maternity session, I figured this would be a great opportunity. I have been working with the Sanfords for about 4 years now and they have been very supportive in the growth of Second Shots Photography. Every time they need a photo they give me a call and it’s truly awesome to not only gain a lifelong client, but to also gain a lifelong friend.

I had the privilege to shoot Ronnie and Chris almost four years ago in Sugar Land. We followed that up the following year with another family session in Richmond. Last year they invited me to shoot Chris’ father’s fiftieth birthday party. Surprising, when Chris sent me a text saying she was pregnant I was utterly surprised. Chris immediately asked me to get creative and to take them to a place stylistically we had never traveled. It was great to get the opportunity to shoot at the studio as it gave a stark contrast.

We had an utterly epic session, and at the end of the day, it left me realizing that I need to shoot here again! Until the next time I shoot there I’ll have to look at these images and enjoy what this studio has to offer. It’s not often that you finish a session and ask why have we not gone on a double date. We need to make that happen after this new baby gets here and you guys get all settled in. Thanks for reading. Ed.
