Houston Museum District Engagement – It is not every day that I’ll choose a session to blog about twice but Sherry and Donn let me too much to work with. I had such a hard time choosing just 10-15 images, so I figured a better approach was to separate their engagement session into two parts. The Black and White collection focuses primarily on our work at the Houston Cullen Sculpture Garden in the Museum district.

I met Sherry and Donn through Facebook and they were very specific on the looks they wanted. We started at the Fill In the Blanks studio near downtown Houston. This was the first time that I shot at the studio and it was quite nice. After our trip to the sculpture garden we finished up downtown with a gorgeous view of the skyline. I’m such a huge fan of black and white imagery, and when done properly they can truly create dramatic photos as their color counterparts. This session is filled with rich examples of black and white imagery.
