Houston Wedding Photographer | The Wedding Ring

As a Houston Wedding Photographer –  I am asked various questions everyday in the groups that I frequent. Three days ago I was asked what is my favorite part of the wedding to shoot and I quickly answered the reception. Although I love reception photos and will post some of my favorite reception photos over the next few weeks, I believe it’s the wedding ring. There are many parts of shooting a wedding that stand out to different photographers for different reasons.

As a man, I know the process of going to the jewelry store and selecting a ring that is indicative to how you feel about her, but stylish enough that she’ll love it. I love photographing the wedding ring as I think both the bride and groom get different levels of satisfaction out of seeing them for different reasons. Inevitably, whenever I do a face to face consultation one of the questions that is asked by each bride is will you make my wedding ring look like that too. The answer is universally YES! I can find the beauty in every wedding ring and if left alone for 10 minutes with your wedding ring, I’ll create something unique.

So being a Houston Engagement Photographer I get to see 20-25 wedding bands up close yearly. Have you just got engaged? You can’t stop looking at your engagement ring?
