Intimate Galveston Wedding | Megan & Desmond

I am a firm believer that love does not need a grand production to exist. When presented with an opportunity to photograph an intimate wedding, I find that couples truly enjoy their time together and the reduced stress. This was the second intimate wedding that I had the privilege of shooting. I met Megan and Desmond through a future brides group on Facebook (speaking of Facebook, like us).

When I met Desmond and Megan for our consultation it was evident that they were totally in love. Their connection shined through and it came through even more on their wedding day. After the ceremony at The Ark Church we set out for Galveston to take in the Strand and beach near Pleasure Pier before they whisked away for their honeymoon.

Since their wedding was on a Monday it created some people free backdrops and made the images all the more intimate. I could easily post 100 images, as this was a super fun wedding, but I’ll need to practice some restraint. I could wax poetically about how fun capturing these images were, and how awesome a couple Desmond and Megan are, but you came here to see the pictures right? Enjoy!
