We set out for Katy Texas to capture some family photos with Shaneka and Jeremiah.

I count it a joy to actually get to document the special events of someone’s life. From weddings, to newborns, to graduations to family sessions all of these photographic experiences hold a special place in the heart of Second Shots Photography. Often, I save some of my best work for the people who are clients, but often give my family rush jobs around the house and squeeze in mini-sessions whenever we can. This Easter I set out to shoot a full session with my fiancé and son. The colors were so vibrant the sun was setting and the results were EPIC.

A mother’s love for a child is something that is so easy to capture on camera. Mother’s naturally display emotion in a candid way that is hard to be staged. When it exists in the genuine form, it’s eye candy for my camera. I could go on and on, but I shouldn’t keep you from this session any longer.
