Katy Wedding Photographer – I am a sucker for shooting weddings in Katy, Texas. Why you might ask, because it’s always minutes from my home and it’s slowly turning into one of the wedding venue hotbeds of Houston. I met Renisha and Marcus through my wife as she went to school with Renisha. I have never done a consultation at my house before, but since they wanted my wife and I to partner on their special day, it was fitting to invite them over. From that first initial meeting I could see why these two lovebirds were tying the knot.
They had a special bond and you could see how they complimented each other very well. Renisha was so down to business and Marcus was just eager to make his bride to be happy and satisfied. It was unique sharing this moment together as I felt like the consultation went on for hours.
Fast forward some months and I show up at the Hotel that Renisha and Marcus was getting ready at and we felt like old friends. Marcus was again true to form was so excited about the day and wanting to make his bride happy. He was completely ready an hour before we arrived and had made his way to Brook Hollow Church Without Walls to ensure that he was not going to miss this day for the world. It was super charming and I have to say that was the first time I have seen a groom moving so fast down the aisle.
Renisha shared that same excitement and you can feel the adrenaline in the room. The bridesmaids were moving about making sure that Renisha had everything she needed and this reminded me of how great friendships and sisterhood can make a wedding day special.
Brook Hollow Church Without Walls has a beautiful wedding chapel. Beaming with natural light, this was the perfect backdrop for Renisha and Marcus to share their I Dos. We finished up at The Weekley Event Center. Special thanks to the Make-Up Artist: Yvonne Shae Make-Up Artistry Thank you for reading, enjoy the pictures. Ed.
