Romantic Houston Rooftop Engagement Session – With engagement sessions, the excitement of being in love can be easily observed with a couple’s smile, jovial attitude, and their ability to live in the moment.  For Funke and Ricardo, this was the first time that we were able to capture the most gorgeous expression of romance on camera. Throughout this entire photo session, you can visually feel the romance radiating off of every image.

This photo session took place at various locations in downtown Houston. On the rooftop, you can see everything from these amazing views with the city skyline providing the backdrop. It is truly an incredible sight for engagement photos. One of the perks, for shooting in downtown Houston on a holiday, is free parking.

For a classic and sophisticated look, going with an all-black ensemble works. Especially when you add a fresh mix of a few different fabric finishes together. Ricardo sported a black iridescent twill suit jacket with a black dress shirt that had a very sleek appeal.

Funke pulled off two dresses in one. Her black silhouette was sultry in a long one-shoulder dress with a high split that showed off the mini length skirt. While Funke’s skyscraper heels provided the right height and depth, her jewelry choice was simple with a single string of pearl bracelet. For a flair of drama, she wore chunky crystal and rhinestone chandelier earrings.

Having a stark contrast in outfit choices can give a couple the opportunity to play on each aspect of their personality and lifestyle. The couple’s second outfit selection was all about fitness as they posed playfully in their Nike athleisure wear. For Funke and Ricardo, they demonstrated that a couple who works out together, stays together. This is true even for date nights, as you can catch them together in the gym with matching workout clothing.
