Romantic Houston Rooftop Wedding – Having the opportunity to fall in love with this couple from our first consultation, to the memorable engagement session all the way to their Romantic Houston Rooftop Wedding, was a joyful experience. Denitra and Scott’s bond was so memorable and they stand out as one of my highlight couples of 2016.
How did they meet: From Denitra: “We’ve been knowing each other since Middle/High School. Never really connected in our early years of our young adulthood but the latter part of our young adult age we finally reconnected through Facebook and the rest is history!”
How did he propose: The bride says, “He proposed at Memorial City Mall inside of Champs shoe store. He had custom-made shoes created that said, “Will U Marry Me” I chose a shoe and asked one of the workers to get my size. Once he came back he handed me the box and I opened it and immediately said, “No, this is not the shoe!” Then he walked up and held the shoebox where I can see the words sewn on the back of the shoes. I looked puzzled as he took out a small box and got down on his knee and asked me to marry him! Of course, I said YES!!”
I remember hearing that story for the first time and instantly knowing that this would be a fun couple and a great wedding to document.
