Romantic Houston Skyline Engagement – There are a few ways to make your photographer happy. One way is to give them free license to be as creative as possible and another is asking them to shoot at a place they’ve always wanted to shoot, but never have. TaCori and Larry did both fairly well when they suggested the beautiful Rice University as the opening backdrop for their engagement session. I never had the pleasure to shoot at Rice University before, and I have to say that it truly photographs exquisitely. TaCori and Larry also wanted to leave me in complete control of the session and wanted me to get some creative photos for them to document their love for one another.
TaCori likes lighter images that have an airy feel to them, and Larry like dramatic images with creative lighting. This was a perfect ying and yang perspective that ensured that we would get some variety in our imagery. It was important that they had fun and had a session that mirrored who they were every day. I love we couples can relax and have a little fun during engagement sessions. They danced and sung, thank you Bruno Mars. They whispered in each others ears, thank you breath mints and q-tips (smile). They took a nice scroll through the campus, thank you Rice University. They nestled under the beauty of skyline, thank you Houston. Needless to say, this was right up my alley.
We finished the session under a clear blue Houston skyline. Their sessions was one of my favorite because of the way they stretched me creatively. I had a blast capturing their session and cannot wait to work with them again for their spring 2018 wedding at Noah’s Event Center. I know you came here to see these amazing photos, and I will not hold you any longer. Thanks for reading, Ed.
