A Rustic Houston Engagement Session – Let’s take a trip to the country dirt roads of central Texas. Let’s go to a place where everyone knows everyone by first name. A place where they remember the things you did as a kid, teenager and can’t wait to congratulate you for what you are doing now as an adult. I had the pleasure of tagging along with Jenni and Shane for an engagement unlike any other. We started out in mid-day (Thank God for the overcast and soft light) heading toward everything rustic only stopping when we felt expired. I had to apologize to my car the next day, as it had never been down so many dirt roads before.

It was worth it though. The hour drive to Garwood, Texas was littered with photographic opportunities. I have to say, planning an engagement session around inspiration is unique and will turn up your creative juices and present you with some once and lifetime imagery.

I love the connection Jenni and Shane had. They had so many inside jokes and things they could do to make each other live. From Jenni’s “oh wows” to Shane calming smirks back at her, this was something that could go on for hours, days, heck even their lifetime. We literally finished under the moon’s light, and I have the pictures to prove it. I know you came here to see these lovely images so I won’t keep you from them any longer. Enjoy. Ed.
