The Dunlavy Wedding Houston – The Dunlavy in Houston, also known as “The Glass Tree House”, is for the bride who wants the feel of modern and chic. The Dunlavy boasts breathtaking views both inside and out. Let’s start with the floor to ceiling windows that overlook Buffalo Bayou and Lost Lake. Next, the venue has at least 20 enormous crystal chandeliers with incredible shapes, forms, and sizes.
The Dunlavy only serves breakfast and lunch. In the evenings, it’s reserved for private events, which is an ideal use of the space. The Dunlavy is close to all the downtown locations. Taking the bridal party off-site for pictures is a breeze. Because of its size, the Dunlavy is great for intimate weddings.
Marlowe and Crystal were both absolutely stunning on their wedding day. The groom wore an Italian midnight blue tuxedo. The bride’s serpentina sleeveless gown with the beaded bodice made a great silhouette for photos. Admiring Crystal’s make up, there is mystique in her lined eyes with the perfectly arched eyebrow. The colors are radiant in soft gold hues with the bronzer and blush. A little extra was added to highlight and contour her cheekbones, finished with a simple matte lip. Crystal’s hair is gracefully swept in a low bun with a sheer drop veil that paired beautifully.
This was one of the most emotional weddings we’ve ever captured. You could feel the depth of their love for each other. It was evident as they exchanged their vows. Both Crystal and Marlowe shed tears, and everyone could feel their raw emotions. There wasn’t a dry eye in the building.
The emotion did not stop there. All those tears of joy turned into just just pure joy during the reception. The Glass Tree House was on full display. The room filled with chandeliers truly photograph like few others.
As always, thanks for reading. Ed
