The Houston Parador Wedding – A wedding at The Houston Parador is one that offers a unique feel that is unlike many other venues in Houston, Texas. The Parador is designated as a Texas Historical Landmarks. The Houston Parador is one of the premier wedding and event venues. The building offers high vaulted dome ceilings with two adjoining grand rooms. The Parador has its own courtyard field with a small garden which makes for great back drop for images of the bride and groom. Originally built in 1928, The Parador’s quaint charm is sure to make most brides and grooms happy.
I always tell my potential bride and groom that hiring a second photographer is essential. A second photographer can work with the groom and groomsmen while I’m working with the bride and bridesmaid. The second photographer can capture an alternative perspective throughout the ceremony. The second photographer can help direct traffic with formals and often shrink the time needed from 1 hour to 40 minutes. The second photographer can also start capturing the décor and cocktail hour while the primary shooter is shooting family formals, pictures of the wedding party and pictures with the bride and groom alone.
I have a few photographers that I enlist to accompany me on some of my weddings and in a reciprocating manner they ask me to shoot with them. As a second shooter here are some of the images that I was able to capture at the union of Elena and Justin. They were such a lovely couple and this may have been the liveliest reception that I was able to help document. Thanks for reading, enjoy. Ed.
