The Woodlands Waterway Bridal Photos | Elizabeth
July 16, 2014
I had to sit on these images for over a month! How did I last that long? Easy, the bride would’ve killed me if I posted these any sooner. (laughing…)
We set out for the Woodlands Waterway and one of my favorite bridges to take Elizabeth’s bridals. What a beautiful bride! I couldn’t wait to release these images, but the wedding was still months away. Houston truly has some of the most unique places to capture beauty, and the Woodlands Waterway doesn’t disappoint.
I met Elizabeth and her now husband Brian at a bridal show earlier this year. They were such a cute couple that I wished I could’ve captured their engagement photos, but her mom is a photographer, and a great one at that. Nonetheless, I was chomping at the bits to head out to capture her, her dress and all it’s beauty. We went out on a cool night in July, and although it threatened to rain, it was postponed until the following evening. Like most engagement and bridal sessions, we got our fair share of passer byes wishing Elizabeth we wish with the marriage. It was such a treat to have her mom with us fluffing the dress, throwing the veil and helping make all these wonderful images. The wedding at Waterpoint Premier Lakeside Venue produced some equally great images, more on that wedding later. =)
We started at one of my favorite bridges and Houston, which I have used for family sessions and engagement sessions. This was the first time that I used this location for a bridal session and it truly offered a contrast against her gown. We finished up, as the sun was setting and a little after at the Woodland Waterway. As the light from the sun dwindled away, the ambient lights from the scenic waterway light up the night. This session provided some of my favorite images this year, and I was so happy to see the look on Elizabeth’s face when she received her canvases and pro prints. I could go on and on about how much fun this session was, but I shouldn’t keep you from these images any longer.
