Tremont Hotel Galveston Bridals | Ashley
The luxurious and historical Tremont House Galveston can provide a backdrop unlike many others. We set out to do Ashley’s bridals in one of Galveston’s crowned jewels and I have to say the experience was EPIC! Yes, I used all capital letters because it’s fitting and maybe and understatement. Ashley wanted images that looked high end and had an editorial feel to them. I’m a photojournalist at heart, I knew I could give her some images that told a story and had a high-end look, but the editorial would be a challenge. Nonetheless we spent a good hour on this session and really started cooking when we went over to the Davidson building adjacent to the Hotel.
Being a Galveston Wedding Photographer brings me to this thought. As every year commences we set new goals for our company. We find new areas we want to focus on and we find opportunities that we should help our couples take advantage of. Last year, we wanted our clients to take advantage of the fact we can print on glass and metal. We placed an emphasis on the importance of knowing that printing on glass or metal is an option, so we brought our metal and glass samples to each consultation. As a result, customers started purchase those fine art pieces in lieu of the standard canvas. Days away from 2016, I’m looking back the year in retrospect and realize that our brides should consider doing bridal sessions. Every time we do bridal session epic magic is created that not only challenge us as photographers, but also change the look of our portfolio as a whole. Ashley’s session is one of those sessions that really will change our business and how we operate going forward. If you are reading this, and debating if a bridal session is a good look for you, one word, YES! Going forward, we will strongly encourage our brides to do bridal sessions as they provide us with an opportunity to get one of kind iconic imagery in your wedding dress. Your paid a lot for your wedding dress, you should get to wear it at least twice right?
I’ve been holding these images back for some time as I had some other editing jobs in front of them. Wow, patience was definitely a virtue. I can’t wait to put some of these in the Wedding Gallery and maybe one of these on the landing page. Let’s do something new… If you have a suggestion on your favorite image, let me know, and I’ll consider it as I update the website. Thank you for checking these images out. With Love; Ed.
