Finding a very unique way of creating a sales presentation is the key to doubling your profits as a photographer.
One of the biggest parts of my business is displaying the pictures can see the images in the manner that I envisioned them before I took the shot. I used to come over with an iPad and let all my customers flip through the pictures and help them select the ones they wanted to print or put into albums.
What was lacking was that emotional connection to the images. I created a new motto for myself then, “if there are tears then they cared”. So when I create these videos that I play through their televisions I try to make sure that they evoke emotions. This can be a tough task at times, but that’s the goal is to present the images in such a manner that the client truly sees the art in themselves and their images.
Take a look at the movie below, Noah’s dad, mom and grandparents loved this movie and their first question was could we get a copy of that movie. My answer to them and every client is emphatically YES!
UPDATE: I have seen my sales increase by 100%-400% after moving to this approach. I originally saw this post looking online for ways to grow my business. It is all too often that when photographers look for ways to grow their business they look for more customers. I too was very guilty of that common misstep. Often, the best way to improve your profitability is by becoming more profitable with each customer you already have within your business family.
